The Snowman

At last! I had reached the small house I was looking for. Soon after a round Snowman appeared and dived into a giant chest, he showed me a picture of his enormous hometown. But before very long he leaped to his feet, he was heading home! I tried to stop him, he was my new friend! But he just kept going! Moments later we were in the air! Most kids would be scared to death, not me, this was awesome! I could see beautiful trees, hedges and small houses as we were in the air!, I felt the cold breeze howling against my ears as we continued our journey. Some time later we had reached a town civilised by tiny houses, empty garages, and a large church, it was surrounded by tall snow-capped mountains. We had later reached the docks. The docks were made up of many large containers, a wide wharf (of course) and a few enormous oil plants. Me and the huge Snowman had soon met a huge ship, inside I saw attendants having a great time dancing. But I had to keep going, there were nothing but water in sight, until,at last,me and the giant Snowman had reached land! The only species we could find were mountain goats. However… we had eventually came across a group of penguins, we were going down, this was our stop!,seconds after we had landed, a strange red figure appeared… It was Santa!

THE END

Did I Hear a Human?

One dark night on the side of a road, I Lucas the spider, was
minding my business, making a web, suddenly I heard a snap!
I left my web to investigate.

THEN… A large figure appeared! A human! A human holding
a large stick! I ran for my life, trying to use my web to clear
distance, but it still saw me, It tried to poke me, the human
was barely missing it’s shots, so I decided to head up a hill,
then the human ran in front of me, ready to kill, I had to crawl
down the hill. I had slowed the human down, but not for long. The
figure was right behind me!.. Suddenly I had thought of
something. I used my web to get distance… Then, I turned and
bit the human! “Argh”! He screamed, “Victory!” I shouted!

At last, I, Lucas the spider, headed back to my web,
feeling proud, after all, I had defeated a human!... Look! A fly!

Remember Poem

That was Pottery

Remember seeing those beautiful items as you entered the workshop?
Remember seeing the giant kiln as you walked around the workshop?
That was pottery.
Remember hearing that deafening kick wheel?
Remember the sound of your toothbrush scrubbing against your clay?
That was pottery.
Remember the nervous thought of what you were going to shape with your pottery?
Remember the feeling of excitement as you watched the roller shape a fish?

That was pottery
