Christmas In The Park

   On Saturday it was Christmas in the park. First we bought some tickets. We bought 10. 

Secondly we looked around. 

I decided to do the 'Water Wars'. 

I grabbed a gun, bottle and took off! There were plenty cover spots.

Next I chose the bouncy castle. I dived through the obstacles.

After that I had another turn on the 'Water Wars'.

Afterwards I once more had a go on the bouncy castles. However, on this one you had to shoot hoops, not dodge obstacles. Finally I bought some Charlies water. I had 1 ticket left. I didn't use it. At last we left.   

Run giraffe! Run!

The dust looked like fire! I felt terrified, would I survive?

It was continuous running, suddenly he jumped, BASH! the lion crashed to the ground, CRASH!, I had steeped on him, ouch! 

It was as if we were playing rugby and he had just tackled me.
Poor Thing!
Phew, soon they disappeared.
I had escaped! Yay! my baby was safe!

Dragons

Dragons are make believe.

 Their ability to breath fire is incredible.

Their fire is useful for destroying villages. And its not just fire, they can also blow steam out of their nose!

Dragons are very magical creatures.

 The dragons body surface is extremely spiky.

Some dragons are in movies, such as Shrek.

If I owned a dragon I would name it Fury.

Dragons have powerful claws so that they can hunt prey.

Dragons live in dark and horrifying caves because they don't want to be seen!

They eat people, yuck!

Dragons hide in their caves until it's time to look for food.

Most people run from these predators, but a knight will stay and fight the dragon!

They are a very deadly predator.

Not all dragons like to kill, some are friendly.

Dear Mr Sedcole

We are writing to you because of the worm farm. We need: Medium sized buckets, a watering can, and worm wee buckets.

Oh, I almost forgot, Please! We need the watering can to keep it wet, 2 buckets to contain the worm wee and 7 more scrap buckets (with lids) (1 per class). It may be a bit much, this will cost $150. I know! Its heaps! BUT... It'll be worth it, PLEASE!

Slippery tiring adventure back to school.

At the heart-pounding marae.

I saw these objects at the Kenana marae, photos of people on the

rear/back wall that had unfortunately died.

 I heard these things at the Kenana marae, the Ritchies bus we were traveling on scraping it's way to the Kenana marae. 

I tasted these objects at the Kenana marae, yummy chocolate chip cookies. 

I touched these objects at the Kenana marae, concrete outside the Kenana marae. 

I felt excited at the Kenana marae.

Trillion Trek

This morning a company known as Trillion Trek came to Mangonui School.

 There were all sorts of crazy cars like: police cars, fire engines and much more.

 My favourite one was the New York police limousine, because you don't see those kind of cars in New Zealand.

 I also liked the part when the cupcake car strolled in because it had a delicious looking cupcake on the roof. We got different kinds of special things like: a Harmonica (musical instrument), drink bottle, ruler, rubber, sticky hand and some lollies. I got wet from a fire engine and Mrs.Yeritech got SOAKED by the fire engine
  

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            

Butterflies

Butterflies are from the family known as the creepy crawlies.

There are different types of butterflies like: Monarch, Moths and other amazing varieties.

Butterflies can fly, high and low.

By patrolling ares where the Butterflies lived, then catching the poor butterflies.

 Taking notes about these extraordinary creatures. And kindly realising them. 

We could learn many things about Butterflies at Butterflies Creak, witch has many wonderful Butterflies.

The Amazing brain

The brain is very important and powerful, it gives you different abilities like: talking, moving, thinking and many more.

 Having a growth mindset is also very important, it means you don't give up when challenges are hard.

 Your brain can get stronger if you give it wonderful exercise.

 Neurons are mini thing inside your brain When you learn new and wonderful things the neurons learn too.

 There are three different parts of the brain the Cerebrum, the Cerebellum, the Brain stem and the spinal cord. The Cerebrum controls your sensing,
 thoughts and imagination.

The Cerebellum controls your emotions,  balance and learning new things.

And the brain stem controls your heart beat.

Epidermis is the top layer of our extraordinary skin were there's tiny holes called pores Sweat comes out of the holes Dermis is the bottom layer.
Melanin Is a resource  provided by our wonderful Sun,the more Melanin you have the darker you'll be.
skin is also very important because if you were to dive into the water and you didn't have skin you would go bigger. Fluids would also escape if you didn't have skin.
